¡Effetá! ¡Don't be stubborn!

Mark 7:31-37

Many of our great human and spiritual problems come from the fact of deny ourselves.
We are ashamed of who we are.
We repress our desires.
We hide our feelings.
We fall silent and we become deaf to those who want to help us.
To all those people Jesus says us Effetá, which is Latin for "open" but it comes from the Aramaic 'eppeta', used to indicate the "stubbornness" of someone.
That is what Jesus asking us today: to stop being stubborn in rejecting how God made us and to open our hearts, minds, voices, all ourselves, to this joy.
The joy of be all what God wants you to be originally.
